Biography

Montreux Calling is a Guitar and Vocal duet, playing from Jazz, Light Entertainment to Blues. Montreux Calling takes modern day Pop Music and arranges the music in a Light Music/Jazz way, which is easy on the ear but still very elegant and musically entertaining. 

The Duet consists of Cassandra de Beer on Vocals and Larry Pullen on Guitar. With a combined experience of over 25 years the musicians will take you on a pleasant journey through some of your favourite songs.

Montreux Calling was born in the studio by Larry Pullen(Multiple SAMA Award winning producer). Montreux Calling specializes in the Corporate Entertainment Industry. Montreux Calling also performs as a 4 piece which includes upright bass and drums/drumcussion for a fuller band on corporate events. 

Joining Larry and Cassandra for these events are Godfrey Magcina on drums/drumcussion (who has performed with Toto, Erika Badu, Snoop Dog and Hugh Masekela) and Cesare Cassarino on upright bass(who has performed with artist like Loyiso, Judith Suphuma and Marcus Wyatt).

The enchanting voice of Cassandra de Beer combined with the musical genius of Larry Pullen creates the perfect dinner time/ back-ground music.
