Kia Johnson

Kia Johnson is a TV and Radio Presenter with a background in B.Comm Business Management. As Co-Host on the morning breakfast show Planet Haaibo on SABC Radio 2000 weekday mornings, she brings you her infectious laughter, engaging conversation and witty comments to spice up your day.

Kia has presented and produced her own show on Radio 2000, Saturday Night Live, which showcased local, international musicians and artists such as Nick Holder, Spiritchaser, Toya De Lazy and many more. This show also included DJ beats getting you ready for the weekend.

Kia is also a Lifestyle Reporter for the station and has interviewed International Chef Gordon Ramsay, Pastry Extraordinare Eric Lanlard, Funnyman John Cleese, WWE’s Justin Gabriel and many SA Government, local and international persona’s.

She is bilingual and her previous TV presenting includes Take5, Expresso and Susters. Quite recently she completed her first season of Life with KJ aired on Deen TV, Openview HD. This show was aimed at uplifting community taking a look at those who, despite their own struggles, manage to improve the lives of others who are disadvantaged.

She’s also your eye in the sky and keeps you calm, collected and rage free on the roads. You will hear her as the soothing face from time to time bringing you updated traffic news on MetroFM and SAFM broadcasting to millions on these national platforms.
